STATION PLATFORM LAMPS
The last of the present batch of new O Gauge Lineside kits is now available. The models built from these kits have all the character of a typical station gas lamp, and although based on a Midland Railway design, this type of lamp was found more or less across the railway network from north to south. They will certainly finish off the station platform or street scene very nicely. Full of detail, there is even a gas burner visible inside the lantern!
The real beauty of this kit is the fact that it can also be brought to life with light, illumination being feasible thanks to the hollow post. The modeller just has to fit a suitable LED or grain of wheat bulb.
The unpainted plastic parts of the kit are crisply moulded and easy to assemble. Full instructions are included. This is a fine quality plastic kit that may contain detail white metal parts, it needs assembly and painting to complete, the image is of a completed kit that has been painted & detailed
