Jaguar XJS – Signal Red More new tooling adds the luxurious Jaguar XJS to your Oxford line-up of prestigious motors before the end of the year. The Jaguar XJ-S which became known as the XJS in the 1990s, was classed as a luxury grand tourer, made by the upermarket Jaguar Company between 1975 and 1996. The 2-door coupe was manufactured at the firm’s Coventry works, where over 115,000 came off production line before it was superseded by the XJ8 in 1996. With a top speed of 143 mph when it was first introduced, it became a favourite drive for motorsport enthusiasts, particularly in the 1980s – and it still enjoyes popularity in the sport today through Jaguar Clubs. Our model, H755YYN as produced in 1990, features a high level of detail with lots of chrome work to the exhausts, door handles, window surrounds and the front grille, emulating the real thing. The body comes in bright Signal Red, a favourite colour of Jaguar owner/drivers of the era.
